Founded in Orange County, California in 1980 by original partners Gary Pohlson and Gary Moorhead, the law firm of Pohlson & Moorhead, L.L.P. has served clients primarily in the Southern California area for the past 30 years, specializing in personal injury matters and state and federal criminal defense matters.
Gary Pohlson was a deputy district attorney with Orange County before leaving for private practice. Gary Moorhead was an associate with the Southern California insurance defense firm of Schell and Delamer for four years before founding the firm in 1980. The firm was formerly ‘Pohlson, Moorhead & Goethals, LLP’ from 1990-2002. Thomas M. Goethals was appointed a Superior Court Judge by the Governor and withdrew from private practice on December 31, 2002.
