Gary L. Moorhead

Gary L. Moorhead has recovered over $42,000,000 on behalf of injured clients or heirs that have lost a loved one since founding the law firm with Gary Pohlson in Orange County in 1980. He is a member of the “Million Dollar Advocates Forum”, a group limited to those attorneys who have recovered more than $1,000,000 on behalf of an individual in a single case. He has been recognized and honored with the prestigious “AV” rating (the highest rating given) by Martindale Hubbell, a national organization rating attorneys for competence and integrity through peer reviews.

His practice is focused on representing those individuals and families that have been seriously injured or killed through vehicular accidents, products liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, FELA claims (railroad injuries) and animal attacks.  He has successfully litigated the entire range of injury claims, including traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, amputations, spinal fusions, severe burns, scars and chronic debilitating pain complexes. He has also acted as “Cumis” counsel in numerous professional liability lawsuits.

He has been a member of the Consumers Attorneys of California for two decades, as well as a member of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of California. He has acted as Judge Pro Tem in Orange County for 20 years and has served on several committees of the Orange County Bar Association. He has lectured on insurance claims matters for the CA Continuing Education of the Bar, and acts as a mediator for Resolute Systems, Inc.
